As a local business Walter's Supa IGA Bamford Lane is committed to assisting our community by providing funds and fundraising opportunities to worthwhile causes. Our local Community Chest program donates thousands of dollars back to the local community, not for profit or charitable organisations.

The program works on a token system, where for every $20 spent, customers are given a token. They can then choose the beneficiary they wish to support from our token board and drop the token into that organisations ‘token box’.

These are totalled every week or so and donated back to the organisation six-monthly or yearly, often these add up to many hundreds or thousands of dollars!
